CeraVe in Sri Lanka: The Range at British Shop

CeraVe in Sri Lanka: The Range at British Shop

Short answer: we stock three CeraVe products: the SA Smoothing Cleanser for rough, bumpy skin, the SA Smoothing Cream for very dry skin, and the AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF50 for daily face care.

What is in the CeraVe range at British Shop?

AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF5052mlNormal to dry skin, daytimeSPF50, 3 ceramides, niacinamide, vitamin E

What does salicylic acid do in the SA Smoothing products?

The cleanser and cream use salicylic acid to gently exfoliate and smooth rough texture, with ceramides to support the skin barrier. The cream adds 10% urea. The maker describes the cream as fragrance free, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic. Because these products exfoliate, start with every other day and stop if skin stings or flakes.

Is the CeraVe AM lotion a sunscreen?

It is a moisturiser with SPF50 UVA/UVB protection, described as lightweight, non-greasy and free of white residue. Apply enough to cover the face and reapply if you are outdoors for long. Our SPF50 guide compares it with a dedicated UV fluid.

How can I use them together?

  1. Morning: rinse or cleanse, then the AM lotion with SPF50.
  2. Evening: the SA Smoothing Cleanser, then the SA Smoothing Cream on rough areas such as arms and legs.
  3. Introduce one new product at a time, a week apart, so you can tell what suits your skin.
